AND IT'S GOING TO TASTE GOOD

IT'S YOUR

WEDDING

Lilac Wedding Cake.jpg

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

1.

A wedding cake is more difficult to create than a normal cake. Therefore why the pricing is more expensive than a normal cake. Each of my wedding cake is made with love (and real flavor) and will never be styrofoam (as most Pinterest wedding cakes are). That being said...

I DO NOT USE FONDANT

2.

Wedding cakes are priced based on the number of Tiers, Layers in each tier, the circumference of each tier, the flavor of cake/frosting, frosting style/difficulty, decoration on the cake (greens, signs, fancy stuff, etc.), and the time of season.

3.

Wedding cakes are made up of LAYERS and TIERS. One tier is usually made up of three layers. But that can be changed. Servings are approximated as followed:

4 inch tier serves 4-6 guests

6 inch tier serves 10-14 guests

8 inch tier serves 20 - 24 guests

10 inch tier serves 30 - 38 guests

12 inch tier serves 45 - 56 guests

When you tier a cake add the sizes you want together to guess about how many people you will be serving (6in on a 8in = apx 38 guests)

4.

When you order a cake please state the day of your wedding, what day/time you need the cake, how many tiers/sizes, any flavors, and decoration. Keep in mind that there will be a cost for a cake stand if you do not already have one. Also please attach any description, photos, and details of how you would like the cake to look.

You may pick up the cake yourself for free from Lehi, Utah, or I will deliver for a fee outside of Lehi. I will not deliver outside of Utah County (for now).

Layers.

A basic tier consistest of three layers for no extra cost. Each layer added on will largely increase the price of each tier individually and the price will be given at the final price decision.

Flavoring.

Every cake has the basic choice of either chocolate or vanilla cake and vanilla frosting. Any other flavored frosting (including chocolate) is an extra charge. There is no extra charge for basic chocolate or vanilla cake.

Frosting: It is an added cost of $4 for chocolate (for frosting), $12 for normal extracts, $14 for every clear extract flavor.

Cakes: Cake flavor pricing is based on ingredients. You may add items (candy, ganache, curds, etc.) in between layers for the price of the items + time compensation.

Please specify what flavors/items you would like in the consult section below and I tell you the cost.

Style.

There are a couple of basic styles when it comes to a frosted wedding cake. The most common being...

Smooth - One color

Naked - showing cake through frosting

Rustic - Ribbon or uneven strokes

Ruffle or Ribbon - Loose Ruffed Layers around the cake (Not recommended for warm weather weddings. It will most likely melt)

Multi Toned - A gradient or a white base with stokes of color (Lilac Cake above)

Rosetta - Spiraled flowers covering the cake layers

Other - If none of these sounds like your style send me some pictures with a description and I'll let you know if it is a possibility!

Decoration.

The decoration is simply based on the price of each team +gas (because you know gas is a serious thing ;)) Some ideas but are not limited to...

Floral

Greens

Candles

Sparklers

Fruit

Wedding Toppers

Seasonal Pricing.

All items may change in price due to a change in the market. (Floral decorations are usually the most affected) If you are looking for something specific just ask and I will let you know.

I do not take orders from September-October, March- Mid-April, (during Brigham Young University Midterms and Finals). This is just temporary until I graduate from college. Prices may increase during Fall and Winter Semester due to a time demand.

I reserve the right to change any pricing due to difficulty of cake style, time and season, or any other reason that may seem fit.
