"Frosting Tastes Better"

From a young child, I hated sugar. No, not because I was healthy... I actually hated the taste of anything sweet. Fruit included. My birthday cakes were popcorn, class party treats were often disappointing, Halloween was exciting only for the costume party, and dessert was a second helping of pasta.

It still is now. But I love love LOVE to work with my hands, so I started to bake as I got older. Although I never like to eat the treats I bake I enjoy watching others' faces light up with the first bite. My father one day sent me a recipe for a 6" layered cake and said, "you should make this". So from then on, I've continued to learn how to bake and decorate. (Also that even if it looks pretty it has to taste good to those of you that like sugar ;) )

My cakes are all decorated with frosting, chocolate, and sugar designs. It is not often I use fondant. Just because I've been told it doesn't taste as good.  I will only use fondant for decorative items, not to cover a cake. But I can NOT promise you exact results with fondant. Remember that often, photos of cakes covered with fondant are really styrofoam. I am very sorry if this creates a problem in achieving your dream.
